Ice Box Canyon is our favorite hike in Red Rock Canyon. The canyon provides shade on a hot summer day and there is lots of boulder hopping to keep things interesting as you hike into the canyon. At the end of the canyon there are small pools, seasonal waterfalls and the opportunity to do some technical scrambling up the wall of the canyon.

Turtlehead Peak Trail is one of the most challenging hikes in Red Rock Canyon. Intermediate level scrambling and loose rocks along the trail add to the difficulty of this hike. This steep, well-travelled trail can be quite strenuous, but the incredible panoramic view from the peak is well worth it.

Calico Tanks is a great hike for families and hikers of all ages and abilities. This trail is fairly short, but is one of the most interesting hikes in Red Rock Canyon. Scrambling over the red sandstone rock formations is a lot of fun, and makes this hike one of our favorites.
